Community First Trust (CFT) is set to host a ribbon cutting and open house for its newly opened El Dorado office on Thursday, Oct. 5, located at 200 N. Jefferson, Suite 618, in the Old Murphy Building.

The public event begins at 11 a.m. and lasts until 1 p.m. A street-level, outdoor ribbon cutting with the El Dorado-Union County Chamber of Commerce will take place first at 11 a.m., and an open house will follow. The open house will feature a tour of the new sixth-floor CFT office.

"This new office marks a milestone in our journey to better serve our clients in southwest Arkansas," said William J. Kerst, Jr., CEO and president of Community First Trust. "We couldn't be more excited for what the future holds in El Dorado and beyond."

CFT's El Dorado office is led by Trust Officer Will Hegi, J.D. With a strong legal and estate planning background, he specializes in services that include trust administration, estate administration and guidance, as well as investment strategies.

Office hours for the El Dorado office are 8 a.m. until 5 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
