GLENWOOD – Judson Wolfe has enjoyed a solid sophomore season for Smackover.
Thanks to his performance on Monday, he will compete against the best golfers in 3A at the state tournament in two weeks.
Wolfe clinched his spot in the state tournament by firing an 81 to finish fifth at the 5-3A District Tournament at Glenwood Country Club.
Bismarck’s Riley Tuttle held off a crowded leaderboard to win medalist honors with a 77.
Overall, only four strokes separated the top five finishers.
The Bucks finished tied for fourth with Camden Harmony Grove with a team score of 285.
Ethan Tarver shot a 100 with Avery Neal finishing with a 104 for the Bucks. Wyatt Parker rounded out the Bucks with a 107.
Fouke won the event with a team score of 240, while Bismarck also clinched a spot in the state tournament by finishing second with a team score of 250.
Jessieville was third with a team score of 283.
