Deadline to register for parade set
Tuesday at 3 p.m. is the deadline to register to participate in the El Dorado Christmas Parade. To register, download a registration form from goeldorado.com or facebook.com/ElDoradoChamberofCommerce, visit the El Dorado-Union County Chamber of Commerce at 111 W. Holiday special airing
El Dorado will be featured in Shreveport-based television station KTBS's annual Spirit of Christmas holiday special, which will air Tuesday evening at 6:30 p.m.

First appearance hearings scheduled
First appearance hearings will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday for the week of Thanksgiving. Court will resume on Monday, Nov. 27.
Kiwanis to meet
The Kiwanis Club of El Dorado will meet Wednesday at noon at First Presbyterian Church, 300 E. Main.
