Last chance to take Main Street survey
Sunday is the deadline to take Main Street El Dorado's survey about the downtown area, which will be used to help MSE write its 2024 strategic plan. To participate in the survey, visit www.uca.edu/go/eldorado.
Downtown Open House
From 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., downtown merchants will open their doors for a Christmas Open House. Horse drawn carriage and Queen City Train rides will be available for free and Santa will be visiting as well. Gourmet 2 Geaux will host Kat Robinson, author of "The Great Arkansas Pie Book," starting at 1 p.m. for pie tastings, book sales and signing along with an author meet and greet. PJ's Coffee will host author Ann Marie Jameson from noon to 4 p.m. for a meet and greet opportunity.
El Dorado Chorale to perform
The El Dorado Chorale will perform a Christmas concert Sunday from 4-5 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church, 300 E. Main.
MONDAY, NOVEMBER 20
First appearance hearings set
First appearance hearings will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 20, and Wednesday, Nov. 22, for the week of Thanksgiving. Court will resume on Monday, Nov. 27.
Operation Christmas Child deadline
All donations and shoebox gifts for Operation Christmas Child are due at Immanuel Baptist Church, 3209 W. Hillsboro, by 4 p.m. today.
City Council to meet
The El Dorado City Council will meet Monday at 10 a.m. to discuss water and public works' projects and any other business the council adds to the agenda.
