James Reginald Bullock

James Reginald Bullock, Affectionately known as “1 can,” was born in Summerfield, LA, to the late O’Dell and Lola Bullock on August 7, 1942. He was one of seven children born into this union.

Preceding him in death were his parents, three brothers, Melvin, Melton, and Ronald, and his niece, who was raised like a sister, Marianetia Bullock-Jones.

Reginald accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at New Bethel Baptist Church under Rev. J.F. Kelly. He also was a graduate of Washington High School class of 1960.

He leaves to cherish his memories two sisters, Christine Gilbert-Waters of Miami, FL, and Betty Bullock of El Dorado, AR, One brother, Roy Bullock (Earnestine) of El Dorado, AR, a special cousin who was raised as a sister, Earlene “Nick” Sherman of Bernice, LA; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
