321st Former Soldier Group Reunion set for May 26 - 28
The 321st Reunion will hold its annual reunion this weekend, May 26-28, in El Dorado. During the event, tributes will be made to unit members who have passed away with a balloon release.
The weekend starts Friday, May 26, with a meet and greet at the Haywood, 210 S. Washington, from 6-10 p.m.
Activities will continue Saturday at Holly Falls Farms, 2426 Mt. Holly Rd., with a picnic from noon to 4 p.m. and an evening event from 7-10 p.m.
The 321st Former Soldier Group consists of retirees and former members of the 458th Stock Control, 321st Materiel Management Center, the 321st Theater Materiel Management Center, and the 321st Sustainment Brigade. The units, based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana with a detachment in El Dorado, have served in Desert Shield, Desert Storm, Enduring Freedom, and Iraqi Freedom I and II. Their mission is to bring together retired and former members for reunion and to stay connected as comrades for life. The unit mottos have been "CAN DO" and "YOUR NAMES SHALL SHINE!!!"
