3 suspected in aggravated robbery

El Dorado police are investigating an incident in which three males reported that they were robbed at gunpoint while attempting to purchase a pair of jeans at a local residence over the weekend.

The incident was reported on March 17.

The trio told police they had gone to a residence in the 700 block of South Murphy Avenue to purchase a pair of jeans and upon arrival, three other males ordered them out of their vehicle.

One of the victims said two of the suspects took $1,200 cash from his pocket.

Another victim said the third suspect held two Glock handguns with automatic switches attached, struck him in the nose and issued a terroristic threat.

The victim reportedly had a small abrasion on his nose.

A second suspect also carried a Glock handgun with high-capacity magazines and the other had a handgun, the victims told police.

They said they immediately fled the scene and headed to EPD headquarters to report the incident.
