The newly formed South Arkansas Regional Hospital has announced upcoming transitions in the hospital's leadership.
SARH, a nonprofit created by local organizations including the SHARE Foundation, Murphy USA Charitable Foundation, Murphy Foundation and AR Health Ventures, a nonprofit affiliated with the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, will complete its purchase of Medical Center of South Arkansas in the coming weeks, according to a press release.
Danna Wagnon Taylor, Amber Rollins and Marita Caldwell have all been named by SARH as interim leaders in preparation for day one of operations, SHARE Foundation President and CEO Dr. Brian Jones, a spokesperson for the new hospital, announced Wednesday.
Taylor, a Union County native, currently serves as Assistant Administrator at MCSA. She will be named interim President of SARH upon the purchase's closing. Rollins is currently Chief Nursing Officer, and Caldwell is Chief Financial Officer; both will continue in their respective roles on an interim basis through the transition.
Taylor will succeed current MCSA CEO David Fox, who was named to the position last March.
"We appreciate the leadership provided by Mr. Fox and his team at the local hospital. We look forward to working with Mrs. Taylor in her new role at SARH," Jones said.
