PHOTO: MAD Movie Monday kicks off with 'Minions' screening

MAD Movie Monday kicked off this week with a well-attended screening of "Minions: Rise of Gru." The free, weekly event is held at the MAD Amphitheater, 105 E. Locust. Upcoming screenings include "Puss in Boots" on June 12; "Remember the Titans" on June 19; and "Strange World" on June 26. The screenings, which start at sundown, will continue through July and into August. Several local vendors, including King Kone Sno Cones, Sticky Fingerz ice cream and Erica's Main Squeeze lemonade are on-hand during the events.
