Lady Trojans thrash Hermitage

HERMITAGE - Parkers Chapel’s Lady Trojans cruised through Hermitage 70-39 in non-conference action on Monday. The Lady Trojans ran their record to 18-5 on the season with a league game at home against Ouachita scheduled for Friday.

The Lady Trojans jumped out to a 20-11 lead after one quarter. The margin was 37-28 at the half before PC outscored the Lady Hermits 20-6 in the third and 13-5 in the final period.

Kallie Martin notched her 10th double-double of the season, finishing with 17 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Lady Trojans. Krista Rivers scored 17 while Bella Frisby added 12 points with five assists and three steals. Makenzie Morgan scored eight with four assists.

Aislin England led the Lady Hermits with 13 points.

Parkers Chapel won the junior girls game 41-4 to improve to 16-0 on the season. Bella Goodwin scored 12 points with Lilah Welch and Carlee Cater adding nine and seven, respectively.
