El Dorado falls at White Hall

WHITE HALL - El Dorado opened 5A South play Tuesday on the road at White Hall. The Bulldogs won the varsity boys’ game 93-68 and the Lady Bulldogs won the varsity girls’ matchup 68-40.

University of Arkansas recruit Jai’chunn Hayes led Watson Chapel with 34 points. Xavier Simpson and Jordan Rasberry added 18 and 14, respectively, as the Bulldogs improved to 7-3 overall.

White Hall led 24-17 after one quarter and outscored El Dorado 28-15 in the second.

Donovan Mitchell paced the Wildcats with 21 points while Isaiah Robinson scored 18 and J Prince Roberson contributed eight.

In the girls’ game, the Lady Bulldogs jumped out to a 23-10 lead after one quarter and were up 35-17 at the intermission.

Kennedi Bowman scored 18 and Kynnedi Barnett added 17 for White Hall, which improved to 6-2 on the season.

London Ingram scored 12 for El Dorado, which plays at Little Rock Southwest on Friday.
