James (JJ) Hill Jr. was born May 24, 1971, to the late Rev. James Hill Sr. and Eleanor Hill Franklin in Bernice, La.
JJ married the love of his life Carla Lindsey on August 4, 2001, in El Dorado, AR, where they raised two children.
He is preceded in death by his father, James Hill, Sr., Grandfathers Howard Hill, and Hozie Noble Jr., grandmother Ruby Hill and father-in-law Travis Moore.
He leaves to cherish his memories his wife of 21 years, Carla Hill, mother Eleanor Franklin; Mother-in-law, Lillie Moore, Stepmother Elease Hill, Grandmother Mattie Noble; three children, Amilles Meadows, Corneyshia Rochelle, Jacarllus Hill. Three grandchildren, Antonio and Anaya Moore and Nehemia Caldwell; three brothers, Orlando Austin, Tyrone (LaTricia) Minor, and Tony Hill; four sisters, Shaytra (Tony) Bridges, Keisha Noble, Na Cheal Brown, and Sherita Hill. Special friends Barbara Hinton and Johnell Bradshaw, a host of brothers and sisters in love, uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Public Visitation Friday, November 25, 2022, 2:00 pm-5:00 pm at Sims Mortuary. Funeral service Saturday, November 26, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at the Junction City High School Multi-Purpose room. Interment will be at Community Cemetery under the direction of Sims Mortuary.
