Only a handful of provisional ballots remain to be counted in Union County. Those whose votes were counted provisionally will receive a letter in the coming days about what they need to do to ensure their vote is counted.
But, with the vast majority of local votes tallied, most local races have been decided. Turnout in this year's election exceeded that of the 2018 midterm elections, with 11,780 ballots cast this year compared to 11,468 in 2018. The 2020 Presidential election drew out 16,542 voters in Union County.
