Prior political experience: Justice of the Peace District 1 (2011 to 2012); Chairman of the Union County Republican Committee (2021 to 2022); State Committeeman for Union County Republican Committee (2006 to 2020); Arkansas Veterinary Medical Association Board of Trustees; Vice President of Arkansas Veterinary Medical Association.

Why did you decide to run? To make Union County a better place to live which includes the five key issues.

What qualifies you for this office? Beginning at age 14 I worked in the grocery business, construction business, surveying business and veterinary care business, federal government, state government and county government. I have supervised as many as 23 employees at one time, and I understand how government and business are best run. I also know how government regulations and taxes affect businesses. I graduated with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science degree from Texas A&M University (summa cum laude) and a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Texas A&M University (magna cum laude).

What do you hope to accomplish if you're elected? Make Union County a great place to live.

What do you think is the biggest issue facing the residents of your district, and how do you plan to address it if elected? Better roads. Increase budget for road construction.

What should voters know about you? I am advocate for efficient government and adherence to the Constitution of Arkansas. I have owned a small business since November, 1989. I have been a Bible teacher at College Avenue Church of Christ, and I give God the glory for everything that I have accomplished and everything that I have. For 40 years as a practicing veterinarian, I was on call 24 hours a day/7 days a week. As a Justice of the Peace, I will be available by phone or email when my constituents need me.
