The Century 21 United team is welcoming three new agents to its El Dorado office.

Jason Parker, a Calion native and Norphlet High School graduate, earned his bachelor's in criminal justice from Southern Arkansas University in 2002 and his master's in public administration in 2020. He completed his Arkansas Real Estate licensing in 2022.

Parker is a patrol captain with the Union County Sheriff's Office and has served in law enforcement for more than 15 years. He is also the chair of the South Arkansas Community College Curriculum Advisory Council.

Parker and his wife, Angie, have three children: Ben, 21; Mary Claire, 15; and Beckett, 12. They attend Immanuel Baptist Church.

James Gathright, an El Dorado native and El Dorado High School alum, earned his bachelor's and master's in music from the University of Arkansas at Monticello in 2017 and 2018, respectively. He has previously worked in retail and as a band director in the El Dorado School District. Gathright continues to play music throughout the region.

Gathright said he was drawn to real estate because he loves working with people and problem solving. He earned his Arkansas Real Estate license in 2022.

Shari Cheatham, also an El Dorado native and EHS graduate, earned her nursing degree from the University of Arkansas at Monticello. She completed her Arkansas Real Estate licensing in 2022, saying she was drawn to the field, in part, due to the stresses COVID-19 brought to the nursing profession.

Cheatham is currently employed at Medical Center of South Arkansas. She is a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. She and her husband, Larry, have three children: Brandon, Tyler and Ashley.
