Lady Wildcats blitz Hot Springs

HOT SPRINGS - Make it two wins in two nights for El Dorado’s basketball girls. The Lady Wildcats, who won at White Hall on Tuesday, went to Hot Springs Wednesday night and cruised past Coach Ashlee Curtis’ alma mater 50-18. 

The Lady Wildcats improved to 10-4 overall and will host Sheridan on Friday.

El Dorado jumped out to a 13-2 lead in the first quarter and built a 28-7 cushion at the intermission.

“It was a great road win,” said Curtis. “My babies are tired but we are back in the lab tomorrow.”

Lindsey Lockhart led the Lady Wildcats with 12 points. Carshaila Rozier and Lauren Nelson added eight and seven, respectively, while Aniyah Brown contributed five.
