MAGNET COVE - Horatio drained 12 3-pointers and pulled away from Parkers Chapel 47-30 Saturday night in the championship game of the Battle at the Cove Tournament. The Lady Lions improved to 5-2 while the Lady Trojans fell to 7-3 on the season.
Addison Wilson came off the bench to hit five 3-pointers for Horatio, including four in the second quarter. Wilson finished with a game-high 17 points.
Parkers Chapel trailed 10-6 after one quarter but saw Horatio hit five 3-pointers in the second quarter to take a 28-14 lead at the half.
Kallie Martin led the Lady Trojans with 11 points. Mackenzie Morgan and Krista Rivers added seven and six, respectively.
Katie Baker added 10 for the Lady Lions.

Junction City 28
FORDYCE - The Lady Dragons fell short to Lake Village Saturday in the third place game of the Fordyce FBT Tournament. Junction City dropped to 5-6 on the season while the Lady Beavers improved to 4-2.
Bria Watson led Junction City with 16 points. Karla Castillo scored seven with six rebounds and four steals. Zoe Miller scored five points and grabbed 10 rebounds.
