A long-planned public art project came to fruition this weekend as local artists completed the painting of the crosswalk at Elm Street at Washington Avenue. Local artist Mike Means led the effort with assistance from Marla Tomlinson, Lacy Franks and Jessica Rockett. The effort could be the first of many, Main Street El Dorado Executive Director Beth Brumley said last week, depending on the durability of the paint and public reaction.
