'Feed the Needy' night at county fair
The Salvation Army will sponsor "Feed the Needy" night at the Union County Fair this evening. Fair visitors who donate five canned food items to the Salvation Army Food Pantry will receive $2 off gate admission and $3 off a wristband for the night.
Gate admission is $7 each evening and wristbands will be available today from 5 p.m. until close for $20. Ticket sales begin at 4:30, with gates set to open at 5 p.m.
Sheep judging and showmanship will begin at 6 p.m., followed by the goat show and showmanship exhibitions.
Monthly singing cancelled
Calion Assembly of God Church will not hold its monthly singing this week.
