Readers share what they're thankful for

The News-Times asked our readers this week what they're thankful for this holiday season.

Brian Welch, of El Dorado, said he's thankful for his health, strength, family and good friends.

Cecile Sheppard, of El Dorado, said she's thankful for her family.

"I'm thankful for the family that will gather around my Aunt's table," said Lisa Cotton, of El Dorado.

Debbie Bates, of El Dorado said she's thankful for God, her wonderful family, relatively good health and fantastic friends.

Hot Springs Village resident Donna Landers said she's thankful that she has another grandson on the way, due for delivery on Dec. 14.

Isabel Cramer, of El Dorado, said she's thankful for God's love, her children, husband, family, pets and the beauty of the world.

Rebecca Garner, of Spearsville, Louisiana, said she's thankful for God and the gift of Heaven, as well as time to share the word with others.

"Also, I'm thankful for time to spend with my family and friends -- unplugged and old fashioned," Garner added.

Tonya Burns, of Smackover, said she's thankful for God's grace and mercy.

"He has really been with my family this year. My oldest son was diagnosed with heart failure and has had four surgeries this year," Burns said.

Linda Hamburg, of Smackover, said she's thankful for people who are vaccinated.
