Doris Jean Cawvey, 87, of El Dorado passed away Sunday, May 23, 2021. She was born November 24, 1933 to George Sheridan Connor and Catherine Irene Clark Connor in Tichnor Arkansas.
Doris was a member of East Main Baptist Church for fifty-two years and retired as a Loan officer at Exchange Bank after twenty-six years.
She is preceded by her parents, and her husband, Billy Cyrus Cawvey. She is also preceded by her brothers, Albert S. Connor and William Connor, and her sister, Helen Hill. Also preceding her are a niece, Patricia Jean McKinley and nephew, Robert Wilmer Hill. She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at East Main Baptist Church. Services will follow at 11:00 officiated by Dr. Benji McCann, under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors. A private burial will be held at Arlington Memorial Park, there will be no public graveside service.
