Lady Wildcats fall to White Hall in softball

WHITE HALL – White Hall showed why its one of the 5A South league leaders Tuesday at El Dorado’s expense. The Lady Bulldogs downed the Lady Wildcats 11-1 in five innings.

White Hall improved to 12-7, 8-2 while the Lady Wildcats fell to 7-11, 6-7.

White Hall had six hits, including home runs by Laykin Hartsfield and Sophie Weaver.

El Dorado managed just three hits with Raielynn Fudge, Macy Eads and Haley Spencer getting a hit apiece.

Lilly Hood pitched four innings, allowing a run on three hits with seven strikeouts and one walk. Weaver pitched one scoreless inning, fanning two.

Jillian Tissue allowed six hits with eight walks and one strikeout in 4 1/3 innings for El Dorado.

The Lady Wildcats host Sheridan in the regular season finale on Friday.
