El Dorado softball falls to Lake Hamilton

El Dorado scored three runs in the bottom of the seventh inning, but it wasn’t enough Friday as the Lady Wildcats fell to Lake Hamilton in 5A South softball action at the El Dorado/Union County Recreation Complex.

The Lady Wolves used a four-run third inning to carry a 7-2 lead into the seventh.

El Dorado had nine hits in the game, including a home run by Cammie Gadberry, who went 3-for-3 with four RBI. Raielynn Fudge was 2-for-4 with a double.

Lake Hamilton’s Madison Duke pitched seven innings, allowing two walks with one strikeout. The Lady Wildcats’ Jillian Tissue surrendered nine hits and eight walks with two strikeouts in seven innings.

El Dorado fell to 7-10 overall and 6-6 in conference while the Lady Wolves improved to 8-8, 6-4. The Lady Wildcats travel to White Hall on Tuesday and host league-leading Sheridan on Friday.
