Jimmy DeWayne “D.T” Taylor, 61 of Waldo, Arkansas passed away on Saturday, March 27, 2021 at his home in Waldo.
He was born on December 31, 1959 in Magnolia, Arkansas to the late Samuel Earl Taylor and Marjorie Rae (Elledge) Taylor. He was an operator for Lion Oil Company and loved antiquing.
D.T. is survived by his wife of 17 years, Aleda Taylor of Waldo; a son Jason Taylor and wife Haley of Waldo; step children, Leon Osgood of Strong, Arkansas, Monica Sysak and husband Matt of Coleman, Michigan, Jason Osgood and wife Maryann of El Dorado; grandchildren, Ethan Taylor and Noah Taylor; step grandchildren, Rylee Osgood, Michael Osgood, Kenzie McCoy, Bailey McCoy, Crase Sysak, Kayley Osgood, Myllycent Osgood; a sister Debbie Martin and husband Dennon of Buckner, Arkansas; uncle Lawrence Elledge of South Carolina; and a host of extended family and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at 10:00 am at Columbia Cemetery with Dr. Eric Goble officiating under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. in Magnolia. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
