In the Southwest hospital region of the state, where Union County sits, 13 people were hospitalized due to COVID-19 Tuesday, including two in intensive care units and one on ventilator support.

A total of 119,976 COVID vaccine doses had been administered by Tuesday afternoon in the Southwest hospital region. The ADH reported that 11.3% of the region’s population were partially immunized Tuesday and 13.4% were fully immunized.
