Marla Gay Strickland (1952-2021), 69, of El Dorado, AR passed away Sunday, February 28, 2021, at Timberlane Health and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born January 26, 1952 in El Dorado, AR to the union of Wallace S. Strickland and Tommie Faye Bell Strickland.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Wallace R. Strickland.
Marla and her parents were members of Ebenezer Baptist Church.
Survivors include her nephews, John M. Strickland and James L. Strickland, M. D., and extended family.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, March 4, 2021 at the Burn Ebenezer Cemetery with Rev. Terry Upchurch officiating. Interment to follow under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home of El Dorado, AR.
