by Marvin Richards | June 22, 2021 at 8:30 p.m.

The Union County Master Gardeners Community Education Project will be hosting a workshop featuring Eddie Albritton, owner of Union Environmental and Seeding Company, on Saturday, June 26, at 10:30 a.m. at the South Arkansas Arboretum.

The program is open to the public and there will be standing room if the seating capacity in the Arboretum is reached.

“The program will be geared towards home landscaping,” Master Gardener Barbie Luther said. “Horticulture education is a big part of our mission as Master Gardeners.

Albritton, who has 20 years of landscaping and irrigation experience, will be leading the workshop and sharing his expertise with those in attendance.

The Union County Master Gardeners are charged with working with the University of Arkansas Cooperative Extension Service to spread horticulture education and beautify the community. Luther said the Master Gardeners hope to host another workshop and training in October.
