Gun raffle today
A raffle will be held to raise funds for Caden Wilson today at Big Bucks Pawn and Gun in El Dorado. The raffle prize is a Ruger .22. Tickets are $20 each or $100 for six and can be purchased at Big Bucks Pawn and Gun or by emailing [email protected].
City offices to close Monday
All administrative offices of the city El Dorado, including the police and fire departments, will be closed Monday, Jan. 18, for Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Police and fire services will operate as usual.
Next week, the city’s curbside garbage collection service will run a day behind the normal schedule. Sanitation crews will start with Ward 1 on Tuesday and end with Ward 4 on Friday.
Courthouse to close for MLK Day
The Union County Courthouse will be closed on Monday, Jan. 18, in observance of Martin Luther King Day.
