Those who look forward to the El Dorado Insider each quarter now have another way to read the magazine.
The Insider staff recently announced an association with Chris and Taylor Jones of CornerPost, 1207 E. Main, to serve as an additional distribution outlet for the quarterly magazine, a tourism publication that takes an intimate look at the people, places, events and other points of interest of El Dorado.
In addition to providing another pickup point for the Insider, CornerPost — which offers shipping, packing, mailing, printing, notary public, business and office supplies and other services — will also ship hard copies of the Insider upon request.
“We offer an online version of the Insider that can be read from a computer or mobile device,” said Insider staff member Carol McDade.
“However, we receive calls each quarter from former residents, as well as locals, who want a hard copy,” McDade continued. “The relationship with CornerPost will provide a means to enhance our distribution.”
Per its partnership with the Insider, CornerPost can process current issues of the magazine for delivery with a shipping envelope, the application of an address label and postage.
CornerPost accepts all major credit cards and transactions may be completed over the phone by calling 870-444-5142.
Other distribution outlets for the Insider include the El Dorado–Union County Chamber of Commerce, 111 W. Main, and the Arkansas Welcome Center, 3315 Junction City Hwy/U.S. 167.
The magazine is also available at El Dorado City Hall and local hotels.
Local advertising firm The Diamond Agency publishes the Insider, which is available to the public at no charge. Issues may also be picked up at The Diamond Agency, 112 W. Peach St.
The magazine is funded by the El Dorado Advertising and Promotion Commission and local advertisers.
