BRYANT - El Dorado’s varsity boys opened play in the Bryant Classic on Thursday. The Wildcats fell to Texas High 65-59.
The Wildcats will take on Bentonville West Saturday at noon.
Against Texas High, the Wildcats fell behind 18-10 after one quarter and trailed 28-22 at the intermission. The Tigers led 40-37 going into the fourth quarter.
Damario Buffert and David Aryee led El Dorado with 17 points apiece while Bryson Boulden scored 12.
Michael Thomas scored 27 points for Texas High with Xavier Dangerfield adding 12.
