Junction City knocks off McGehee

DUMAS - A big second quarter proved to be the difference, as Junction City knocked off McGehee 58-36 at the Dumas Holiday Classic on Thursday night.

Leading 16-10 at the end  of the first quarter, the Dragons outscored the Owls 20-3 in the second stanza to take a 36-13 lead at intermission.

The Dragons led 46-19 at the end of the third quarter before winning by the final margin.

Ryan Allen had 23 points to lead the Dragons.

Jakourian Key had 10 points and nine rebounds for the Dragons, while Kamarian Dade added seven points and nine rebounds.

Winners of four straight, Junction City (8-1) hosted Bearden on Friday and will take on Dumas tonight in the finale of the Dumas Holiday Classic.
