Dale Thomas Payne, 66, of North Little Rock, Arkansas died in Searcy on the day of our Lord’s Resurrection, April 4, 2021. Dale was surrounded by his siblings, Patti Black (Texarkana, AR) and Travis Payne (Montgomery, TX).
Dale Payne was born on July 23, 1954 in Camden, Arkansas. He attended Mt. Holly Public School. Dale always said he was a jack of all trades and master of none. Immediately following school, he attended trade school to be certified as a diesel mechanic and welder. He worked as an automobile mechanic, prior to being a process operator at Amoco Chemicals. Dale was a fireman and paramedic with the City of El Dorado. Later, Dale worked as a maintenance contractor at Great Lakes Chemicals.
Dale is survived by his daughter Holly Whittington (Jerrod) and three grandchildren: Ashton, Payton, and Shelton of Gambrills, Maryland. He was preceded in death by his parents, Marshall and Helen Payne.
The memorial will be held on May 2, 2021 at 1:00p.m at Mt. Holly Community Church in the fellowship hall, 2935 Stephens Highway in Mt. Holly.
