A total of 142,728 COVID vaccine doses had been administered by Friday afternoon in the Southwest hospital region. The ADH reported that 10.3% of the region’s population were partially immunized Friday and 17.6% were fully immunized.

*An ADH spokesperson explained that there are a few reasons why a death might be removed from the state’s total: It may have been wrongly assigned as a death resulting from COVID or a duplicate report of another death.
