The El Dorado Insider is going outside for its spring/summer edition, which is available now.
The latest edition of the magazine focuses on the outdoors and features local outdoor adventures and upcoming events and festivals from early spring until late summer in El Dorado.
“After the events of the last year, we decided to focus on bringing residents and visitors some of the most exciting and inspiring outdoor activities El Dorado has to offer,” said Managing Editor Philip Shackelford. “In this issue, you will find a thousand reasons why South Arkansas is a fantastic place to experience springtime.”
Readers will be introduced to upcoming concerts in El Dorado, including a show by the Allman Betts Band, which is fronted by the sons of Gregg Allman and Dickey Betts.
The band is slated to perform at 7:30 p.m. May 1 in the First Financial Music Hall of the Murphy Arts District.
Also in the spring/summer edition of The Insider, Shackelford highlights events from three other organizations that are known for promoting the arts in the region: the South Arkansas Community College Library, South Arkansas Arts Center and South Arkansas Symphony Orchestra.
Other features that are included in the edition are profiles of local business professionals and a sneak peek into some of the hottest seasonal looks in fashion from a few El Dorado merchants.
