Wolves top Wildcats 2-1 in eight innings

PEARCY - Justin Dumas turned in a terrific effort on the mound, but El Dorado mustered little offense, as the Wildcats fell at Lake Hamilton 2-1 in eight innings Tuesday in 5A South play.

Dumas went the distance, allowing just five hits and two runs. He walked two and struck out two.

However, the Wildcats scored only once despite picking up eight hits in the contest.

Shadarious Plummer was 2-for-4, while Landen Rainwater was 2-for-3 with a double for EHS.

Tyler Johnson, Rhett Richardson, Brennan Jones and Holden Lowry all had one hit for the Wildcats.

Johnson scored El Dorado’s lone run in the fourth.

The Wildcats, who lost their third straight, host White Hall in a conference clash on Friday.
