Below are the number of COVID-19 cases, active cases, recoveries and deaths recorded on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 in Union County, Arkansas, the United States and the world. Additionally, local and state testing, hospitalization and vaccine information is provided.

The data was gathered from the Arkansas Department of Health for Union County and Arkansas, and from Johns Hopkins University for the U.S. and world.

In the Southwest hospital region of the state, where Union County sits, 17 people were hospitalized due to COVID-19 Tuesday, including four in intensive care units and one on ventilator support.

A total of 134,709 COVID vaccine doses had been administered by Tuesday afternoon in the Southwest hospital region. The ADH reported that 10.3% of the region’s population were partially immunized Tuesday and 16.2% were fully immunized.
