Lady Wildcats fall in softball

PEARCY – El Dorado out-hit Lake Hamilton but couldn’t outscore its opponent on Tuesday. The Lady Wolves walked away with a 14-3 victory, dropping the Lady Wildcats to 4-6 overall and 3-2 in 5A South action.

Lake Hamilton managed just five hits in the game but took advantage of 13 walks and six El Dorado errors. The Lady Wolves’ Kaylin Kauffman had a home run and two RBI.

Lake Hamilton scored six runs in the first inning.

The Lady Wildcats collected eight hits in the game. Lexi Bronson was 2-for-3. Jillian Tissue was 1-for-3 with a double and two RBI.

Tissue pitched for El Dorado, striking out two in 5.1 innings. Madison Duke was the winning pitcher for Lake Hamilton, walking two and striking out one batter in six innings.
