A graveside service will be held for Kenneth Leroy “K.C.” Cripe, age 61, at Arlington Cemetery of Homer, LA, on Saturday, September 26, 2020, at 12:00 p.m., with Rev. Jeff Derrick_, officiating. The family will receive friends at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Homer on Saturday, from 10-11:30 a.m., prior to service.

K.C. was born on May 15, 1959, in Columbia City, IN, to Charles R. and Roszella Rottger Cripe. He entered into rest on Tuesday, September 22, 2020, in Homer, LA. K.C. started his career as a packager with Brookshire’s where he eventually worked his way up into management. He was later employed in management with Piggly Wiggly of Homer, Haynesville and Springhill. K.C. also delivered flowers and plants for Tropical Colors of Homer. He later worked for Wal-Mart where he was seen on a regular basis with a smile greeting customers as they entered the doors to shop. He loved his grandchildren and they were his life. K.C. loved boating, fishing, sitting on the dock, watching his grandkids swim, 4-wheeling, reading and was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan.

K.C. was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Blaine Cripe.

He is survived by his two daughters, Kimberly Ann Cranford and husband Tommy of Little Rock, AR and Candice Nicole Cripe of Homer, LA; a brother, Stanley Cripe of Homer, LA; half-brother, Charles Cripe and wife Teresa of Winchester, VA; a sister, Christina Skinner of Hot Springs, AR; six grandchildren, Christopher Wright, Preston Goodwin, Kassie Wright, Trevor Cripe, Cindy Cripe, and Jocelynn Perez; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be Nick Wright, Tommy Cranford, Trevor Cripe, Gill McClure, Trent Crook, Billy Christy, and Jeffery Smith.

In lieu of flowers honoring K.C., his family suggests memorials be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
