Livestock show today

The Union County livestock show will be held today from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Union County Fairgrounds.

No drivers’ testing

Head-2-Toe Wellness Fair today

The annual Heal-2-Toe Wellness Fair will be held today from 9 to 11 a.m. at Champagnolle Landing Senior Center. The health fair is free to all older adults, and they will be offered flu shots, giveaways and educational health literature.

This year’s event will be held in a drive-through format.

El Dorado City Council to meet today

The El Dorado City Council will convene for a regular meeting at 5:30 p.m. today in the Council Chamber of City Hall. Those who plan to attend are asked to enter City Hall through the sallyport in the back parking lot, undergo a temperature screening and wear a face mask.

SAAC ‘New York School’ lecture series continues

The South Arkansas Arts Center’s “New York School” lecture series, hosted by Gay Bechtelheimer, will continue with its third installment this evening at 6 p.m. “Color Field” will be the topic of this week’s lecture.

South Arkansas Community College is offering a community education course today on intermediate-level Cricut cutting machine today. Registration information is available at southark.edu/ce.
