Kay Stone, 74 of Calion, died Saturday September 19, 2020 in El Dorado. She was born May 17, 1946 in Tupelo, Mississippi to the late John Herbert Allison and Nell Marie Blakely Allison. She was also preceded in death by her husband Joe Stone, her sister Joyce Ann Timmons, and her step-son Tim Stone. She was a loving mother who was loved by many. She was also a homemaker and the co-owner of Stone Transport.
Kay is survived by her son Joey Word of El Dorado; two daughters Melissa Conkling of Seabrook, Texas and Meredith Stone of Village; one step-daughter Jody Wood of Junction City; two brothers Wade Allison of Arkadelphia and David Allison of Frenchport; one sister Linda Folse of Frenchport; seven grandchildren: Braxton Lewis of Arkadelphia, Blakely Lewis of Norphlet, Mark Wood, Caleb Wood, Kristin Hall, T.J. Caraway, and Ayla Caraway all of El Dorado; three great grandchildren Jude Wood, Eliza Wood, and Leilani Wood all of El Dorado; her beloved cat Lucky; and her nieces and nephews who were very close to her.
