Strong’s football game at Drew Central that was scheduled for Friday night has been canceled due to the Bulldogs not having enough players to field a team.
“We’ve got 14 players and we had a couple get suspended and a couple got dinged up that had to go to the doctor, so we went from 14 to 10,” Strong coach Sirl Wright said Thursday night. “Hopefully, we will be all set when those players are back from their suspension.”
The Bulldogs opened their season a week ago with a 16-14 win over Lake Village.
Strong is scheduled at play at Carlisle next week.
