Betty Jo Hoover, 90, of El Dorado passed away, Monday, September 14, 2020 at Hudson Memorial Nursing Home.

She was born July 30, 1930 in Springhill, Louisiana.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Hyme Talley and Bessie Mae West, her brother, William Douglas Talley, and her husband, James Clyde Hoover.

Betty Jo was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church, a homemaker, housewife, daycare owner, and “coolest” Mee-maw! She loved soap operas, fishing, and anything to do with children.

She is survived by three children, Susan Moreau (Jason) of Joplin, Missouri; Thomas Crow (Sandy) of Russellville, Arkansas; and Mark Crow (Joe) of Grand Prairie, Texas; three stepsons, John Hoover, Clyde Hoover, and Ed Hoover; her brother Ray Gene Talley of Texas; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 16, 2020, at Bailey Funeral Home in El Dorado.

Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, September 17, 2020 in the Chapel of Bailey Funeral Home. Private interment will be in the Arlington Memorial Park under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home of El Dorado, AR

The family wishes to thank the excellent caregivers of Ella Manor, Hudson Memorial Nursing Home, and LifeTouch Hospice for all the blessings they shared with our Mother.
