TOPIC: Wisdom in Navigating Social Media and Culture
SCRIPTURE: “And whatever you do or say, do it as a representative of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through him to God the Father.” -Colossians 3:17
OBSERVATION: I can’t offend, hurt, or slander anyone with the social media posts I don’t write. Maximize connections and friendships. Minimize drama.
Is it kind? Is it encouraging? Is it necessary?
Most of all, does it provide a good representation of Christ?
Our social media accounts are part of our lives.
Our lives should bring glory to God, and point others towards Him.
PRAYER: Dear Lord, social media has only complicated matters in our culture. Even when issues ignite our passions, help us to spend our time praying rather than posting. May we represent You in all we do.
