Rebecca Gail “Becky” Pittman Hansen, age 63, passed away Monday, October 19, 2020, at the John R. Williamson Hospice House in El Dorado, AR, after a three year battle with cancer. She was born June 10, 1957 at Warner Brown Hospital and lived in South Arkansas all her life. Becky started her school years in Junction City and graduated from Mt. Holly in 1975. She worked in respite care and as a preschool aide at the South Arkansas Developmental Center when her children were younger, but transitioned to cleaning houses where she formed close relationships with her families. First and foremost, Becky was a wife, mama, and nana. She was her children and grandchildren’s biggest supporter and best friend.

Becky is survived by William “Bill” Hansen, her husband of 45 years and two children, Stacy Kendrick and Matthew Hansen. She has three grandchildren, Samuel Kendrick, Dillan Hansen, and Julia Kendrick. She also claimed Hunter Wells and Katie, Wesson, Carsyn, and Gunner Kentas hers. Becky was a doting pet mom to her cats, dogs, and the birds that frequented her overfilled feeders. She is also survived by her sister, Debbie Conley; brother, Billy Ray Pittman; and sister-in-law, Cheryl Cossey; as well as nephews, nieces, and other extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ray J. and Julia Pittman; two brothers, Raymond “Pat” Cossey and Boyce Lynn Cossey; and son-in-law, Joseph Kendrick.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 22, 2020 at Marysville Cemetery Pavilion with Reverend Nathan Dupree officiating. Interment to follow in Marysville Cemetery under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home of El Dorado, AR. Visitation will be at the cemetery one hour prior to services. Casket will be closed, per Becky’s wishes as she wanted people to remember her how she was before cancer took so much from her.
