Local college students have been recognized for their academic performance during the Spring 2020 semester. Graduates have also been recognized for completing their degrees.
Arkansas State University
Over 2,600 students made the Chancellor’s or Dean’s List at ASU during the 2020 Spring semester. The Dean’s List recognizes students who maintained between a 3.6 and a 3.79 grade point average during the semester.
Ethan Cousins, of El Dorado, made the Dean’s List during the Spring semester.
ASU will hold their Commencement ceremony for Spring 2020 graduates on August 8. Students with GPAs between 3.8 and 3.99 are graduating Magna Cum Laude; one local student is being recognized as such.

Ouachita Baptist University
Over 400 students made the OBU Dean’s List during the Spring 2020 semester, which requires at least a 3.5 GPA, at least 12 course hours completed and no failing or incomplete grades.
