The Central Arkansas Development Council will distribute United States Department of Agriculture commodities in Union County on Thursday, Aug. 13, and Friday, Aug. 14.
Distribution will begin at 9 a.m. and will take place at the Union County Fairgrounds at 1430 E. 19th St. in El Dorado.
Food items that are to be distributed include dry split peas, oat circle cereal, fruit nut mix, canned pork, raisins, tomato soup and beef chili.
All those receiving commodities must present identification and a photo ID is preferred, according to a press release from the CADC.
