Billy Blackburn and Chris Elia won the 27th Annual First Financial Bank/SHARE Benefit Golf Tournament over the weekend.
Elia and Blackburn were awarded the John R. Williamson Championship Trophy. Williamson was a champion for his work at Interfaith Clinic. In his honor, the Championship Trophy is awarded every year to the winners of the Championship Flight.
Interfaith Clinic, a SHARE Foundation agency, is the recipient of all tournament proceeds. Funds raised through the tournament stay in Union County and help cover the operating costs to provide health care services to low income uninsured and under insured individuals. Instead of families having to choose between food or diapers and medications, Interfaith is here to help relieve the financial burden that can come with medical care sometimes.
Patients of Interfaith Clinic are not turned away due to inability to pay, and this annual tournament helps make that possible.
