After reaching double figures in his preseason debut with the Chicago Bulls on Monday, former El Dorado standout Daniel Gafford finished with eight points and three rebounds in his second outing against the New Orleans Pelicans Wednesday.

The Pelicans topped the Bulls 127-125 with Zion Williamson, the No. 1 pick in June’s NBA Draft, finishing with 29 points.

Gafford came off the bench and played 12 minutes, going 2-of-4 from the floor.

He was a perfect 4-for-4 at the free-throw line against the Pelicans, and in two games, Gafford is 10-for-12 at the charity stripe. Of his three rebounds, two were offensive, and Gafford also had one block, giving him four early on in the preseason.

The Bulls will play the third of their five preseason games tonight at Indiana.

Game time is set for 7 p.m.
