Norman Maurice Wilson, 89 of Junction City, LA; passed away on Monday, Sept. 30, 2019, at UAMS in Little Rock. Maurice was born Aug. 13, 1930 in Junction City, he was the son of Ocie Lonzo and Virginia Johnson Wilson.

He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Junction City. He was a veteran of the Korean War and worked over 40 years with Great Lake and other chemical companies.

Preceding him in death are his parents; a daughter, Julianne Wilson Graves and his wife of 60 years Margaret Ellen Wilson, brothers, James Wilson, Marion Wilson, Tommy Wilson, J. D. Wilson; and sister, Nancy Ritchey.

Survivors include a daughter, Lisa Ellen Jones (Larry); son Norman M. “Bubba” Wilson II (Pam) all of Junction City; seven grandchildren, Bill Mark, Joey, Adam, Mandy, Wes, Sarah & Chris; fifteen great grandchildren, along with brothers, Jarrell Wilson (Bet) of Lillie, LA, Woody Wilson (Helen) of Lillie, LA, William Wilson (Joann) of Lockhart, LA, Richard Wilson (Beth) of Pine Bluff and sisters, Dorothy Spooner of Junction City, Bobbie Orr of El Dorado, Julia Meador (Freddie) of Junction City, Judy Carter-Franklin (Dale) of Ft. Smith.

Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2019 at the First United Methodist Church in Junction City.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the First United Methodist Church of Junction City with Rev. Mary Depper officiating. Burial with military honors will follow at Roselawn Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.
