Dorothy Kinder “Meme” Lemoine, of Smackover, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Nov. 15, 2019. She was born Sept. 6, 1938 to Frank Boyd Kinder and Viola Bryant Kinder in New Edinburg.

Dorothy is preceded in death by her mother and father, a daughter, Cynthia Ann Neely, and her husband, Roy James “RJ” Lemoine.

Those left to cherish her memory are her two sons, Ricky Neely (Marilyn) of Louann and Ronny Neely (Sheri) of El Dorado; and her sister, Frankie Hollingsworth (Buddy) of Smackover. Dorothy had five grandchildren that loved to call her Meme: Stacy Mullin (Chris) of Smackover, Stephanie Thomas (Kevin) of Louann, Crystal King of Smackover, Tiffany Neely (Mike Burton, fiancé) of Smackover, and Tabatha Bledsoe (Zach) of Smackover. Dorothy had seven great grandchildren: Haley Mullin, Megan Mullin, Colton Thomas, Kasynn Neely, Lillian King, Jonsie Bledsoe and Liam Bledsoe.

Dorothy was a member of First Baptist Church of Smackover.

The family would like to thank the staff of Courtyard Rehabilitation for taking such good care of our Meme, and a special thank you to Life Touch Hospice of El Dorado.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 17, 2019 at McCoy Cemetery in New Edinburg, under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors, with Bro. Carley Davis officiating. The family will receive guest at the home of Ricky Neely.

All memorials may be made to the Life Touch Hospice of El Dorado, the Family Life Center of First Baptist Church of Smackover, or the SHS Class of 1979 Memorial Fund c/o Smackover High School.
